Ars Ignota Foundation is a young organization established in 2024. Its main goal is to promote art that remains outside the mainstream – undiscovered, forgotten, or overlooked in the canon of art and music history.
The Foundation operates in the Republic of Poland, focusing primarily on music, but also on other areas of culture and artistic education.
The Foundation’s activities include the popularization of early music that has never been performed before and the restoration of forgotten works of art. An important part of its mission is also to support young, talented artists who have not yet had the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience.
The Foundation also aims to activate communities on the margins of cultural life, promote new art, develop cultural education, and protect and enrich European artistic heritage. It organizes artistic and publishing events, supports syncretic initiatives combining various fields of art and science, and strives to raise social awareness of forgotten artistic works.
Through its activities, the Ars Ignota Foundation strives not only to rediscover art, but also to inspire its creative development and expand the boundaries of cultural memory.
